Amaris Consulting is hiring! We are looking for a Safety Engineer (m/f/d) to join our team in Zürich. Your expertise will help us to support our different projects in R&D and industrial environments.

Your role:
SRAC (safety related application conditions) Management related to Observation & Measurements
Analyze/capture the subsystem SRACs out of the subsystem documentation with the support of system engineers
Check detailed SRAC from project documentation and formulate the Operational / Maintenance SRAC which will fit the driver/ maintenance personnel.
Able to understand the target customer documentation (Operation Manual, Maintenance documentation, etc.), find closure arguments, and judge if the current text in customer documentation is sufficient to fulfill the SRAC.
Able to discuss and agree with external stakeholders (technical/safety) related to text in target documentation
TCMS Safety Activities
Perform safety impact analysis as part of change management process
Judge safety impact of the unresolved SCRs and define necessary restrictions in case of any negative impact on safety (together with architect)
Review and provide feedback on requirements. Able to use requirements management tools such as DOORS, Enterprise Architect.
Perform safety related reviews on TCMS documentation
Support assessment activities in case needed

Required qualifications:
Education: Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience
First experience (2-3 years) as a Safety Engineer in the field of railway, aerospace or energy
Knows EN 50126, EN 50128/EN 50657. EN 50129 norms, CSM RA (Common Safety Methods)
Knows Risk Analysis, Hazard Analysis, Fault Trees, Hazard Log, Technical Safety Report, Safety Case.
Familiar with Requirements management and Change Management
Fluent in German and English
