Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Sales Executive based in Zurich
  • Active Sales in Swiss French speaking CH mainly (target group: Asset Management Companies, Alternative Investment Firms, Insurance companies and Banks)
  • Execution of the sales plan aligned with the market trends and the services offering of the business line (special focus on some pre-define client segment such as Asset
  • Management Companies, Assets Owners and Alternative Investment Firms)
  • Dynamic and proactive development of a sales pipeline
  • Strong financial product knowledge and technical competence in the understanding, development, and delivery of holistic financial servicing planning solutions
  • Develop C-suit connectivity articulating global client strategy & mapping: understand client’s business strategy and critical business issues, articulate clear value statements / propositions, discern and capitalize on political forces in an organization
  • Responds to client inquiries, relating to all aspects of the Company’s range of services and products offered in the assigned territory
  • Submits pricing proposals, leads RFP process and legal negotiations,
  • Act as a company ambassador towards clients/Market & represent the Company business line at marketing events organized vis-à-vis specific client segments (interviews, conference, roadshows),
  • Cross selling of the Company (SGSS) global products towards Swiss based institutional investors & Financial intermediaries’ ecosystem
  • Ongoing market research (Swiss securities services industry, regulatory evolutions leading to business opportunities)

Profile required

Studies & experience:

  • Advanced/graduate degree in Finance or Economics
  • Between 5&10-years’ relevant experience in Sales & Relationship Management on Institutional Investors universe within a similar environment (Asset Servicing, Global Custody, Asset Management, Fund Administration, MO/BO outsourcing)

Language skills:

  • Fluent in French and in English
  • German & Italian would be an asset

Technical, operational & Soft skills:

  • Knowledge of the Asset Servicing industry (institutional investors) and existing client network (Asset Manager, Insurance companies, Banks)
  • Detailed understanding of the investment process and of all products related to Securities Services (Fund Administration and Trustee services, Asset Servicing, Securities lending, Global Custody)
  • Demonstrable track record of relevant sales success, and negotiation skills
  • Experienced in working in an international environment
