Supply Chain Staff Data analyst

Position Overview

We are looking for a high-potential talent who has the passion and strong technical proficiency in building a digital control tower for our integrated Performance Management data.

Reporting to the Senior Manager Value Capture, the Supply Chain Staff Data analyst will be responsible to develop and maintain a Digital Supply Chain Analytics Platform, including data models, performance management dashboards and KPI’s for the DePuy Synthes Trauma/CMF Product Portfolio.

The candidate must be intellectually curious, interested to understand key business questions and eager to learn how to translate data into business stories that enables our business leaders to make key strategic decisions.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Work with Management to prioritize business and information needs
• Manage and design the data model including data sources, define standard dashboards and KPI’s
• Develop predicative models to support and influence decision-making outcomes
• Support internal customers to develop self-contained analytics
• Analyze, interpret, draw conclusions and present results and insights from data analytics
• Partner with other functions and external partners to connect and integrate systems in order to generating valuable data
  
  

Extended Duties

• Contributes to the development of an overall Digital Supply Chain Ecosystem
• Ensures data consistency across functions & systems
• Training of end-users on new reports and dashboard
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or Finance
• Requires 3-5 years of work experience as a data analyst or in a related field
• Good understanding of E2E Supply Chain processes and principles
• Deep knowledge in methodologies and processes for managing large-scale databases
• Demonstrated analytics proficiency in recent assignments
  
  

Interpersonal Skills

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amount of data with attention to detail and accuracy
• Good knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects, Power BI, Tableau etc.)
• Driven and focused on results and execution
