Senior Compliance Officer

For our client, the largest Swiss producer of renewable energy and international market leader in energy trading and marketing of solar and wind energy, we are looking for a Senior Compliance Officer. Do you enjoy working on a variety of ethics and compliance topics and like to drive things forward? Are you a motivated and good team player? Have you gained solid experience in ethics and compliance topics, and do you have a pragmatic hands-on mentality? Are you interested in the energy industry? Then you will be the perfect fit for the position of a Senior Compliance Officer.

Your tasks

• You provide compliance advice and support to the business on different ethics and compliance topics

• You are supporting the organization in protecting its reputation and maintaining a best-in-class compliance culture
• High involvement in the continuous improvements of our compliance framework
• You advise our internal clients on compliance risks in new business transactions
• You will investigate Compliance breaches and respond to internal queries
• You will develop and conduct compliance training

Your profile

• You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in law

• You have gained broad international experience in compliance topics, ideally in a trading house or utility (minimum 10 years)
• You made first experience with economic sanctions
• You have a strong understanding of regulatory and risk management
• You can manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced, global environment
• You can interact with all levels of management
• You are fluent in German & English
