Your role

Are you an experienced and strong engineering and production Sybase support dba, with good troubleshooting skills?
Are you a team player, interested in joining a global engineering team, that supports Sybase database in an enterprise scale organization?

We’re looking for Senior Database Engineer who can:
  • design, develop and deliver complex solutions, involved with code development and integration with different systems and platforms
  • work with numerous technical teams to improve core infrastructure
  • provide support for production DBA teams
  • ensure compliance with operational / change management guidelines

Your team

The engineering team is spread across the globe in numerous regions and covers Oracle/PostgreSQL/Sybase/MS-SQL. It is a team of highly skilled and experienced technicians.

Your expertise

  • at least 3 years’ experience and knowledge of Sybase or MSSQL RDBMS technologies
  • good experience in programing and developing automations, using different development languages (Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, Shell,…)
  • knowledge of any other database platform MSSQL, PostgreSQL is also well seen
  • good experience in designing and implementing High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions within Sybase
  • good understanding and knowledge of Unix/Linux is an advantage
  • SRE, DevOps or automation experience
  • experience in enterprise scale organization, supporting of hundreds of servers is a plus
