Janssen Business Services (JBS) belongs to the Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson. JBS is a global organization located in USA, Belgium, Ireland, The Netherlands, Singapore and Switzerland. Within JBS, our mission is to provide diligent stewardship of the Janssen business model, by protecting and optimizing the product intellectual property (IP) structures in close collaboration with Janssen Commercial, R&D, Supply Chain, Tax and Treasury.

Currently we are looking for a Senior Finance Director responsible for all Finance Activities of JBS in Switzerland. The role is located in Switzerland.

Main Responsibilities
  • Overall Balance Sheet & P&L responsibility for the principal finance activities of JBS Switzerland (Allschwil & Zug) including all respective Financing Companies
  • Financial lead of significant 3rd party business in close collaboration with respective business leaders on a global level
  • Coordinate and lead the P&L actuals and forecasting process ensuring financial and SOX compliance
  • Lead the design and implementation of financial processes together with the Controlling and F&T departments following the Janssen Business Model but by working with cross functional teams and stakeholders from Supply Chain, Tax, Global Services and others
  • Closely working and aligning with Pharm tax planning as well as Corporate tax teams on multiple projects related to IP structures such as royalty arrangement, Swiss Tax reform, tax optimized product flows
  • Significant involvement in various projects like SigniFi and other IT initiatives from an operational as well as strategic perspective
  • Partner with various Campus Service teams
  • Part of local boards and leadership teams
  • Lead a team of approx. 40 Finance professional

Qualifications

Key leadership characteristics and qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in finance/economics (or equivalent) with 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong technical accounting expertise and functional knowledge (GAAP, Supply Chain, Commercial) is a plus
  • Ability to influence day-2-day business and projects from a tactical and strategic perspective
  • Ability to lead an organization through change while maintaining day-to-day operations
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with employees, colleagues, leaders and stakeholders at all levels with a consistent track record of influencing outcomes
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and fluid situations, demonstrating a pragmatic approach
  • Develop and maintain a high-performing team with the ability to lead in a matrixed environment
  • Strong ability to mentor and delegate as appropriate
  • Ability to champion new ideas, concepts and technologies and obtain consensus from executive leadership and peers
