Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Senior Finance Analyst in the Principal, Inventory & Costing (PIC) team, supporting Inventory for Surgical Vision. The preferred location for this position is Zug, Switzerland, but qualified candidates from Ireland or the US would be considered as well.

The PIC team is part of J&J Vision’s Supply Chain Finance organization, and has the following mission statement: Our purpose is to bring consistency and clarity in highly interdependent supply chain finance processes, using our global footprint to promote process excellence and build bridges across the functions. The Senior Finance Analyst will play a crucial role to bring this purpose to life, as the Surgical Vision business is currently progressing through a pivotal strategic change journey with high visibility and responsibility for the broader PIC team.

Key Responsibilities

The inventory role is built up around three core areas of responsibility, being Financial Close & Compliance, Financial Forecasting and Process Automation.

Financial Close & Compliance
  • Lead the end-to-end SLOB reserve calculation and alignment with business partners (Make/Quality/Plan/Regional Finance)
  • Consolidate the worldwide inventory report using Alteryx.
  • Reporting out of inventory metrics and provide analytics supporting bridges to financial plans and historical actuals.
  • Update and maintain the SLOB Expense Tableau dashboard.
  • Calculation of DOS, inventory reserves and other ad hoc analytics.
  • Preparation of journal entries and ad hoc close tasks. Ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Support the inventory SOX cycle and related compliance activities.

Financial Forecasting
  • Collaborate closely with the Plan organization and regional commercial finance teams to build comprehensive net inventory forecasts for all major forecasting cycles (BP/JU/NU), ensuring we show a coherent story across P&L and Balance Sheet that ties in with business drivers.
  • Quarterly latest thinking forecasting.
  • Support Long Range Financial Planning (LRFP) and business case support or ad hoc inventory related financial modeling.

Process Automation
  • Continuously challenge the existing processes and procedures
  • Drive process automation through Alteryx
  • Enhance data visualization through the implementation of Tableau dashboards.
  • Explore the further use of advanced analytics tools to simplify processes or provide improved data-driven insights.

Qualifikationen

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with strong forward thinking analytical skills, a problem-solving track-record and intellectual curiosity. The preferred candidate works well in a dynamic environment and is able to recommend and implement operational improvements, works independently, and handles multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in Finance/Economics.
  • 3+ years finance/accounting experience, including business planning, reporting, and analysis.
  • Strong Excel skills, experience with advanced data analytics tools (mainly Alteryx and Tableau) is an asset.
  • Familiar with ERP and reporting systems (SAP, TM1).
  • Knowledge of J&J Worldwide Procedures, Internal Control Handbook, Bravo reporting are an advantage.
  • Strong communication & business partnering skills.
