Senior Financial Analyst
Description
Ethicon Inc, a member of Johnson & Johnson’s Family of Companies is recruiting a Senior Financial Analyst to be located in in Cork, Ireland with consideration to Puerto Rico, Belgium or Switzerland.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead the reporting of Somerville Virtual Plant transactions.
- Manage affiliate AP matching and reconciliation of GRNV and AP Accounts.
- Provide support to North America Standard Cost Set Up process.
- Support the North America Inventory Reporting for Biosurgery and Wound Closure & Repair, Reconciliation and Analysis.
- Analyze variances, monitoring and calculate projections for the following CNIS (cost not in standard) report lines: Burden Spending, MUV, Physical Inventory Adjustments and others for Biosurgery and Wound Closure & Repair.
- Analyze and prepare reporting for Ethicon Products Donations in order to support taxes reporting.
- Support key SOX controls including; standards cost edits, work orders management, inventory adjustments.
- Support internal and external audits (PWC & CIA), providing data, walkthroughs regarding Inventory area and ad hoc requested documentation.
- Provide explanations for consolidated Balance Sheet report.
- Analyze and reconcile VAT (Value Added Tax) account for North America.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA accountant
- 3+ years of relevant multinational experience
- Supply chain finance experience in medical device or pharmaceutical industry an advantage
- Proven track record in multicultural business partnering
- Proficient in SAP & Microsoft Office.
- Good analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills, be a team player and willing to work in a flexible environment
- Results orientated
- Strong technical accounting and compliance knowledge
- Demonstrated record of driving continuous improvements in execution
- Ability to translate complex situations into simple working solutions
- Proactive, energetic, and enthusiastic approach.
