For one of my clients a high-tech start-up seeking a dynamic, self-starter Senior Financial Analyst - Lausanne based.

Job Description
  • This position is an excellent opportunity to build and support a financial infrastructure in a pre-IPO, high growth, fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
  • Support process improvements of the overall FP&A framework improving the speed, accuracy, quality and transparency of financial results and supporting accountability of results in the area of gross margin, working capital, Cash Flow, OPEX and CAPEX.
  • Ensure accurate and timely communication of key financial metrics to business partners.
  • Support in consolidation of month-end financial reports and variance analysis.
  • Prepare management reports and KPIs, providing analysis of the key areas highlighting risks and opportunities, and assisting business partners in developing action plans and recommendations for improvements.
  • Measure and track departmental spending vs budget and forecast highlighting areas of overspend and assisting business partners in the costs tracking and variance explanations.
  • Prepare and provide journal entries to accounting for the complete and accurate booking of PO/Non-PO accruals based on the departmental spending and % of project completion.
  • Coordinate with the accounting team in order to improve accuracy of the reporting, providing accurate and meaningful management information.
  • Support analysis of capital expenditure requests and business cases for all capital projects.
  • Support preparation of annual operating plan and quarterly plan of record financial forecast.
  • Ad hoc finance projects as assigned by management
The Successful Applicant
  • 8+ years of financial planning and analysis experience in a similar role
  • Experience with a public company with international operations is desired
  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills, including ability to present to senior management
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Power BI and ability to develop financial models to suit business needs.
  • Hands on attitude
  • Fluent English
