Senior Marketing Manager

We are looking for an ambitious applicant, who shares our mission of a low carbon future, to direct and lead our marketing efforts. SCB is a world leading low carbon commodity company relentlessly pursuing a low carbon future.

The chosen applicant will be responsible for all aspects of the external and internal marketing and corporate communications for SCB and its Environmental Assurance brand ClimatePositive. The position would track towards the role of Marketing Director. The department currently has three members, a Marketing Manager, Digital Business Officer and Brand Design Officer. Our ideal candidate is confident, adaptable, builds relationships easily and interacts well under pressure.

Our headquarters are in Nyon, Switzerland supported by four global offices located in London, Chicago, Puerto Rico and Singapore. Our London office opened in 2012 and has approximately 20 of the firm’s 100 staff.

Who We Look For

Candidates should be interested in a career within the environmental, commodity or financial markets. Here is who we look for:

• Seven years+ experience in corporate marketing, a key requirement
• Strong experience in corporate communications for internal and external audiences
• Technical expertise to manage digital marketing, and technical platforms as a creator of content
• Success in corporate use of social media
• Digital consumer marketing experience is a plus
• Public company experience of investor relations, and PR management a plus

• A self-starter with the ability to work on own initiative and achieve results
• Desire and ability to develop team members, to encourage colleagues to be the best
• Effective task resourcing
• Disciplined in the presentation of finished work
• Strong technology skills
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
• Organized with an ability to prioritise time-sensitive assignments
• Legal right to live and work in either London, UK or, Nyon, Switzerland
• Fluent English, other languages a plus

• Managing the existing team, and creating strong career paths for all members
• External Marketing Strategy development and execution for SCB

  • Press Releases
  • Corporate presentations templating
  • Dealing with Public Relations matters as they arise
  • Brand management
• External Marketing Strategy development and execution forClimatePositive
  • Bringing ClimatePositive to life as an environmental assurance mark
• Internal Marketing
  • Promoting SCB as a great place to work
• Corporate Communications
  • Maintaining a high standard of internal and external written communication
• Board Documents and banking relations
  • Preparing visuals for presentations
