As part of our Corporate Security Management Organization, Product Security Management is responsible for developing and maintaining a high quality service toward our internal and external customers. With our strong customer focus attitude, we want to provide world class guidance and a best in class global support for our products and services.

We are looking for a Senior Product Cyber Security Expert to drive implementation of the Corporate Product & Service Security policy in all u-blox Product Centers.

In this role you will interface with Security Experts, R&D Management and Development Teams across the Product Centers to drive adaption of the corporate security requirements and requirements from external security standards such as ISO 21434 and ISO 15408 in the various development processes and toolchain, and coordinate certification efforts in these areas.

This IoT security position is an excellent opportunity to apply a broad range of technical- and project management skills and get strong visibility within the company.

Besides, you will be able to contribute to our company’s security strategy, collaborating with your peers in the Corporate Security Organization and from other parts of the organization (Product Management, Quality, Sales…). You will also contribute to the u-blox product- and service roadmap in the area of security, by identifying security requirements from applicable laws, standards and market feedback, and shaping the Secure Product Development Processes to ensure compliance.

Your responsibilities

  • Develop and continuously improve Product Security & Service Security policies, processes and standards, coordinate rollout and implementation across the Product Centers, and support internal and external audits to confirm and certify their implementation
  • Manage certification projects on corporate level for applicable external Product Security standards
  • Provides expert support for Software Security topics to product development teams, e.g. Security in Software Development Processes, Secure Coding, Software Testing, SecDevOps
  • Ensure and promote Product- and Development Security awareness within the company
  • Support Product & Service Security Threat Modeling and Risk Management and Security Vulnerability Handling & Incident Response, interfacing with customers and suppliers where needed

Your skills and experience

  • Degree in Computer Science or Comparable Fields, specific security certifications would be a plus (e.g. CISA, CISSP, CEH, OSCP…)
  • Min. 7 years of broad IT experience with system development focus (e.g. Software / System Engineering, Software Architecture)
  • Minimum 5 years of specific experience in secure software- or product development, ideally with automotive industry background and experience with ISO certifications
  • Experience with ISO15408, ISO21434, ISO 26262 or ASPICE, corresponding certification would be a plus
  • A self-motivated, strong team player and lateral leader with very good analytical skills
  • Experienced in communication, training and coaching, negotiating and handling conflict situation and able to handle multitasking within a fast moving environment
  • Readiness to travel globally up to 20% of time
  • Very good English skills, both spoken and written, German, Italian or French skills are a plus
