Purpose

Direct to Consumer business will represent the majority of adidas revenues by 2025 and it is a yearly double-digit growth which is expected for it in the next 5 years. Beyond sales, the impact we can create on every consumer thanks to Retail, eCom, Omni and Partner Programs is massive and unique.

This is a key in-house strategy position for an organized, passionate, and goal-oriented future leader who understands what projects have in common, and their strategic role in how organizations succeed, learn and change.
  • Drive major change initiatives across functions
  • Manage (senior) stakeholder’s relationship and secure buy-ins to DTC SC project deliverables
  • Coach and groom future junior talents furthering project management capabilities and knowledge management of the team
  • Uphold and enhance the brand of DTC SC Projects Management with (senior) stakeholders
Key Accountabilities
  • Lead specific DTC SC program, project and work streams deliverables (e.g. project planning, milestones execution and monitoring) in alignment with strategic direction
  • Identify business opportunities through development of new capabilities, and align and balance cross-divisions’ interest
  • Manage effective and timely communication on DTC SC project progress and results to sponsors and senior management
  • Lead interpretation of DTC SC program, project results and translate into insights to steer the project successfully
  • Effectively deploy project management toolkit across work streams to ensure high quality and consistency of deliverables
  • Coach and Manage activities of (assistant) project managers and business analysts
Key Relationships
  • Drive project activities and connect with other stakeholders to share activities across work streams
  • Initiate and drive discussions with x-functional stakeholders to collect and consolidate feedback, prepare and align solutions
  • Proactively manage stakeholders, build relationships and manage communication
  • Stakeholders can relate to the following core functions:
    • Markets (MD, SCM and DTC functions)
    • Sales (Omnichannel)
    • DSS
    • GOPS
    • GSCM
    • Finance (Controlling and IT)

  • Other HR toolboxes (e.g., Campus and self-learning modules)

  • Manage project teams
  • Coach junior team members through providing feedbacks to support the development and performance of the team
  • Drive and manage onboarding
  • Support recruiting
  • Foster a team culture that encourages trust, open and constructive discussion of important issues
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5-6 years of relevant work experience in MNC environment (e.g., top tier consulting, project management, apparel/fashion, or supply chain management, background)
  • Within which 1-2 years of relevant project leadership, team management experiences
  • University degree, PMP and lean sigma certification preferred
