In order to strengthen our Back Office team, we are looking for a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Someone who enjoys learning new things, who wants to explore the energy sector and who feels good in an international team. This position is based in Olten and reports to our Head of Invoicing & Collection.

Your main responsibilities
  • Perform monthly settlement of sales, origination and wholesale trading (incoming and outgoing invoices, as well as netting)
  • Communicate with clients via email
  • Cooperate with colleagues from Trading, Accounting, IT and Operations within an international team
  • Support with monthly closing, building accruals and audit requests
  • Ensure continuous improvement & efficiency of existing Invoicing & Collection processes
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects

Your profile
  • Interest in learning new things in a complex environment, adaptability to change, out-of-the box thinking
  • At least 2 years of settlement expertise in the energy sector or in a similar environment (e.g. financial services)
  • Fluency in German and English required; any other language (French or Italian) would be an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills (assertiveness-based),
  • Education in Business administration (university or comparable degree) would be considered an asset
  • Ability to gradually become proficient with use of multiple IT applications
  • Proactive and open-minded team-player with a high quality and process orientation
  • Basic knowledge of controlling and/or accounting principles (advantageous)
