Systems Engineer - (Azure, M365)
Location: Bern, Switzerland - Hybrid
Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Systems Engineer with expertise in Azure and M365, to join our dynamic team. As a Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining and optimising our IT infrastructure, ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of our systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage Azure-based solutions to support our organization’s infrastructure needs.
- Administer and maintain Office 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Teams.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts and automation workflows for system monitoring, provisioning, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues and optimize system performance.
- Implement security best practices and policies to protect our systems and data.
- Monitor system health, perform routine maintenance, and respond to incidents promptly.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and colleagues.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend and implement improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a Systems Engineer, with a focus on Azure, Office 365.
- Strong knowledge of Azure services, virtualization, and cloud architecture.
- Expertise in Office 365 administration and configuration.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and management tasks.
- Familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator) are a plus.
