In November 2020, ABB announced the planned divestment of its Turbocharging Division. Turbocharging is a successful and profitable Division in a mature market and has been for long a highly self-reliant business within ABB. ABB has decided to take this step, acknowledging that for Turbocharging to realize its full potential going forward, a new setup is required. As the next step, alternative ownership options, including a spin-off to the Swiss stock market, will be assessed, considering value for customers, ABB and the future of the turbocharging business. As a Senior Technical Consultant, you will manage the non-ERP application carve-out application migration in close collaboration with sourcing, infrastructure architects and application owners.

Your responsibilities

• Lead project non-ERP application carve-out application migration for "rebuild", "lift and shift" and "continuity" migration scenario in close collaboration with sourcing, infrastructure architects and application owners
• Carry full delivery responsibility of projects in regards of fulfillment of agreed budget, quality, time objectives
• Manage external implementation partners
• Ensure structured management decision process in line with Division guidelines
• Ensure transparent and compliant project reporting to sponsor and stake holders in line with Division guidelines
• Comply to Division project portfolio mgmt. principles and process
• "Rebuild" application cluster:
• Define user stories with business process owner
• Define solution design on low code platform
• Implement and test solution with business
• “Lift & Shift” application migration cluster:
• Ensure license transfer with minimal cost impact
• Ensure user access and possible URL change
• Target hosting and architecture defined and implemented
• “Continuity” application migration cluster:
• Ensure license transfer with minimal cost impact
• Ensure user access and possible URL change

Your background

• Unversity degree
• Innovative and wholistic network thinking in process and IS environment
• Sound expierence in professional (organizational and technical) change mgmt
• Familiarity with proactive escalation and conflict mgmt
• Good track record with professional project mgmt. (Agile / Hybrid approach)
• Long term experience with application mgmt. / testing
• Experience with Microsoft low code Platform (Power Platform, Power Automate, Power App, Power BI) or MS Dynamics CRM
• Experience with Microsoft O365, SharePoint, TEAMS, Planner, ProjectOnline,...)
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio / Team Foundation Server / MS DevOps
• Experience with license mgmt., cloud / on-prem hosting, authentication , URL / DNS mgmt
• A high level of self-motivation, curiosity and a desire to learn about new technologies
• Demonstrated excellent project management capabilities, with a collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills
