Ärztekasse develops software for doctors and healthcare professionals to support their core business. As UX Expert you will shape the look and feel of our products for doctor offices, patient billing and eHealth services.

We are looking for an experienced UX Designer who wants to push the UX of our products to the industry state of the art. You will have the freedom and the challenge to shape a unique design and handling of Ärztekasse products.

Our clients are primarily professionals (B2B) who want to work very efficiently and quickly (e.g. also with keyboard short-cuts, optimized navigation). The amount of data which needs to be presented to the user is significant but necessary to make well-founded medical decisions. This presents conceptually high UX challenges. Interaction patterns over the whole applications need to be consistent and intuitive to not deviate the user from the medical work. We target a timeless, yet modern, stylish, intuitive, efficient system without unnecessary gimmicks. As simple as possible but not simpler.

Senior UX Expert (m/w)

Pensum: 80-100%

Start: immediately or by appointment

Duration: unlimited

Location: Urdorf

Main Tasks

• Design of user-friendly and mobile-compatible web applications (progressive and hybrid apps)
• Define standard interaction patterns together with designer and development team
• Creation of wireframes, user flows, mockups, click prototypes and visual design
• Research and benchmarking of current user experiences
• Design and implementation of usability and A/B tests
• Work in an agile Scrum team together with Product Owner, Designer, Frontend developer and Marketing

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in the field of design and implementation of web and mobile ¬applications (please include your personal portfolio with your application)
• Strong visual skills paired with interaction design
• Strong and innovative in conception and precise in execution
• Open to find pragmatic solution between optimal design and technical limitation (Angular, Angular Material)
• Experience in working in agile teams, design thinking, lean UX
• Solid knowledge of tools (Figma, Sketch, InVision, etc.)
• Very good knowledge of German and English. Knowledge of French would be of great plus
