Your role

Any digital experience is made up of flows, graphics, and words. In this role you’ll help develop flows and take responsibility for the words.

We’re looking for people who share our passion for great user experience. You’ll work closely with interaction designers, developers, strategists, product owners and localization experts, and the things you write will be read by millions of clients around the world.

Together, we’ll make their banking life easier and more delightful.

As we are a growing team, you’ll also have the chance to help shape the way we do UX writing here at UBS. We want to hear all about your vision – how we should create and deliver content across multiple channels, including ubs.com, E-Banking, and the Mobile Banking App.
This job is based in Zurich, so you should be located in Switzerland or willing to relocate.

We work in the office and from home – as long as you’re in Switzerland, we’ll find a solution.

Your responsibilities

  • work closely with interaction and service designers, product teams, localization experts, business analysts, developers and researchers
  • develop copy for a variety of use cases, including UI components on web and mobile, web content, and help text
  • develop client-centered copy based on research insights and client feedback
  • collaborate in an agile product development environment – short design sprints, rapid prototyping, and frequent user testing
  • prepare the ground for an awesome user experience in all languages by working hand-in-hand with localization experts

Welcome to the Experience Design Center of Excellence (CoE). We design the experiences for UBS products and services. Our team is growing fast, and we need talented writers who can deliver clear, crisp, and inspiring text.

We are a fast-paced, design-focused, agile organization that is working hard to build the design culture at UBS.

In our agile organization you will be collaborating with product and client need teams to shape client experiences while working in a hybrid model at UBS offices and from home.

Your expertise

  • 5+ years of writing experience with an extensive portfolio showcasing your skills
  • deep experience with UX writing for complex user journeys
  • experience working with user research and using client feedback as a source for writing
  • writing microcopy and transforming copy written by product specialists into clear, user-centric text
  • at ease working in a design team as well as being part of an agile software delivery organization
  • a communicative and proactive personality
  • comfortable in a highly dynamic environment where you help to shape our processes
  • a native German speaker with an excellent command of the language who is comfortable working in a very international team
