About Our Client

Our client is a global consumer goods company with multiple manufacturing plants and distributions centers across the globe. To strengthen their regional manufacturing operations, we are recruiting a Site Quality Lead (all genders).

Job Description

Site Quality Lead is responsible for the complete quality and the team management within the site operations. Furthermore, you will:Main Objectives:
  • Manage the complete site quality operations with nine direct reports.
  • Execute and improve continuously the local implemented quality management system
  • Execute quality management reviews for the plant and make proposal how to adapt on site level the effectiveness of the management system
  • To assure that incoming raw materials, packaging materials, manufactured bulk and finished products meet quality standards.
  • To assure that compounding, filling & assembling and warehousing operation is performed in line with quality standards.
  • Plans, organizes, leads, and reviews Quality Improvement initiatives.
  • Make sure that local guidance is complaint with corporate regulations such as policies and procedures
New Products Processes
  • Ensures that filling & assembly standards are created and maintained in collaboration with engineering, packaging, and production execution.
  • Ensures that appropriate component and product testing is performed to meet required quality standards.
  • Ensures that any quality issues in the New Launch process are handled and escalated to the appropriate department.
Handling Of Non-conformances
  • Assures that internal and external issues, non-conformances, and deviations are reported, investigated and corrective and preventative actions are being followed up and completed.
  • Assures that consumer complaints are investigated, and corrective actions are implemented to avoid reoccurrence.
Compliance
  • Gives direction on cGMP requirements and assures compliance of the manufacturing department and the distribution center
  • Ensures compliance of manufacturing department with legal requirements communicated by legal affairs
  • Respects and implements all safety & environmental prescriptions in his department
  • Ensures compliance of manufacturing department with company requirements and policies
The Successful Applicant

Additionally, The Scope Of The Job Holder Will Include Following Core Elements

The selected candidate must bring proven record in quality management with approx. 10 years of work experience in the manufacturing of cosmetic, food or pharmaceutical products or other regulated industries. The hired candidate should have a university degree in chemistry, chemical, mechanical engineering, or microbiology or other similar/comparable disciplines.
  • Able to lead project teams with different professional background and/or culture wise different orientation to a defined goal
  • Excellent overall understanding of QA end-to-end processes and regulations
  • Excellent ability to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with business partners, including executive leadership, to answer to business needs and formulate solutions
  • Result driven and high sense of accountability and responsibility
  • Capable of influencing key stakeholders and drive meaningful changes
  • Fluent English skills are required, language proficiency in German is a plus
