Your Mission

The Vice Presidency for Responsible Transformation (VPT) is driving EPFL’s change towards an inclusive culture and a sustainable campus. The VPT brings together the teams of the Offices of Equality and Sustainability.
To strengthen its team, the VPT is looking for a Project Manager who will be responsible for providing operational support for projects related to Sustainability and Equality. The Project Manager will be responsible for identifying and mapping needs in order to respond to them.

Main Duties And Responsibilities Include

New teacher induction project
  • Implement a welcome program for new professors in line with the VPT’s themes of Sustainability and Equality (bootstrap day, training, events...)
  • Work closely with the vice presidencies and human resources departments to define the content and ensure the promotion of the institution’s values (equality, inclusion, sustainability)
Dual Career Fund
  • Participate in the drafting of the implementation principles for the Dual Career Program
  • Support faculty affairs and faculties in identifying employment solutions for partners of recruited collaborators
  • Prepare contracts and ensure budget follow-up
  • Represent EPFL in the thematic networks in which the school is involved
  • Maintain and encourage links with neighboring institutions
Daycare centers
  • Support the VPT and the Office of Equality in the issue of childcare on the EPFL - UNIL campus

Your Profile
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in project management in the social and/or cultural field
  • Professional experience related to the themes of the position
  • Good knowledge of the academic environment
  • University education
  • Language skills: French and English imperative, German an asset
  • Versatile, autonomous, dynamic, the person must be able to make proposals
