You are a seasoned Software development leader with knowledge and experience in development and support of critical applications that scale to customize to match Business requirements.

MSC has decided to launch Program OneVision, a commitment led by MSC Geneva, to review their operation and information systems from a central point. Adding or modifying key concepts, technical components and functionalities will allow this solution to become the standard MSC Group solution.

We are looking for new a Software Development/Applications Managerwithin IT OneVision Development Services looking after a team of 30+ people (leads / developers / BA / ScrumMaster, tester) and about 15+ products in multiple locations (Geneva, Torino, Chennai), within budget and according to the expected quality assurance standards.

As Development Manager you will be focusing on time deliveries of sustainable Applications, leveraging standard technology to reduce ROI, and supporting Company Development technologies strategy and process, with a good estimation skill, a forecast vision to proactively anticipate and manage risks.

You will championship continuous improvements of MSC architecture and process and DevOps whilst effectively balancing the delivery of valuable features to our Business Stakeholders.

Some of your key responsibilities :

  • Guide the team through the continued adoption of Company standard technology and process.
  • Help to provide team members the tools, knowledge, and environment to deliver exceptional products.
  • Create a culture of teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop strong teams through coaching, mentoring, and feedback.
  • Define, review, and enhance software development practices, standards, and specifications.
  • Ensure best practice is maintained, (SOLID) principles are followed and continually improved. This also includes evaluating and performing proof of concepts for new tooling and processes.
  • Support the agile delivery process and drive adoption of CI/CD practices.
  • Be responsible for ensuring all projects within the Identity product are delivered on time to a high standard.
  • Monitor, measure, control, and report on team progress, supporting your team to ensure their ability to deliver on their commitments. Assess pipeline of activities and escalate any capacity/capability threats to deliver.
  • Contribute to architecture with the Solutions Architect and Senior Director.
  • Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with the technology leadership team (including Engineering Manager and CTO) and key business stakeholders and represent your teams in stakeholder meetings.


Who are you?

  • You have relevant experience leading teams that build software with C#, .Net Core, SQL, on MS Azure stack.
  • You have experience leading dev team through multiple production releases, building processes, managing projects and release.
  • You have experience managing both onshore and offshore teams.
  • You have experience in partnering with product and UX teams.
  • Experience with Scrum and other agile software development methodology.
  • You are eligible to work in Switzerland, EU or Swiss citizenship or valid work permit. No Sponsorship for candidate outside of EU.
