Your role

We’re looking for a Software Engineer to:

  • provide technology solutions that will solve business problems and strengthen our position as digital leaders in financial services
  • apply a broad range of software engineering practices, from analyzing user needs and developing new features to automated testing and deployment
  • design, plan and deliver sustainable solutions using modern programming languages
  • providing technical expertise and recommendations in assessing new software projects and initiatives to support and enhance our existing applications
  • share knowledge and expertise with colleagues and contribute regularly to our engineering culture and internal communities

Your team

You’ll be working in the Credit Request & Decision Crew in Zurich. We are a highly motivated, international crew which develops and maintains lending solutions for our clients. As a member of our crew, you’ll play a key role in defining and implementing our digitization process.

Your expertise

  • software engineer/developer focused on cloud solutions
  • strong expertise in java 11, spring, spring boot, rest APIs
  • strong knowledge of microservice architecture
  • experience with messaging related technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMq and/or JMS
  • experience with agile development practices (scrum, agile, etc.)
  • adaptable, able to work across teams, functions and applications
  • enthusiastic, self-motivated and client-focused
  • prior financial/banking experience is highly desirable
