We are looking for a Specialist in Biomarkers and Health, to initiate, develop, and execute research activities for the development of nutritional solutions across health benefit areas. You will drive experimental design and data analyses using preclinical, clinical and real-world studies, contribute to the discovery of biomarkers and generate (data-driven) hypotheses to support our research & innovation pipeline.

A Day in the Life of a Specialist in Biomarkers and Health

  • Design and execute experimental studies building an effective strategy for nutrition interventions guided by state-of-the-art biomarkers, with a focus on biological aging clocks and geroprotective bioactives.
  • Collaborate with data scientists to develop new biomarkers for precision nutrition based on epigenetic, genetic and/or multi-omics data.
  • Build relevant connections with external scientists and communicate scientific discoveries to internal stakeholders and promote our research through conferences and publications.
  • Work in close collaboration with other departments as well as junior and senior scientists in the team to define priorities and ensure translation of concepts for tangible business impact.

What Will Make You Successful

  • PhD in Life Sciences and minimum 3 years of post-doctoral experience.
  • Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Biology or related study fields.
  • Strong translational mindset to unlock health through precision nutrition for healthy aging.
  • Experience in drug or nutritional interventions to reduce biological age quantified by epigenetic clocks.
  • Track record of peer-reviewed publications in the fields of aging and/or chronic diseases research and/or preclinical disease models.
  • Experience in combining data-driven research, biomarkers and preclinical experimental sciences.
  • Proven ability to collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Fluency in English (both written and oral)
