Position Summary

As a specialist, you will join a team of researchers and lead the development of mobile application prototypes to translate health and nutrition science into innovative digital products that can be tested, validated, and used in clinical and real-world studies.

A Day in the Life of a Specialist in Research App Development
  • Propose and develop prototypes for consumer-facing digital nutrition & health mobile applications
  • Maintain and improve applications to support clinical research
  • Integrate wearable data into mobile applications to enable predictive models and recommendations
  • Lead the end-to-end app development process, from idea to distribution
  • Propose and integrate cutting-edge technologies such as generative AI and VR/AR

What Will Make You Successful
  • Track record in developing successful mobile applications, ideally in digital nutrition & health contexts
  • Well versed in iOS and Android development, preferably including expertise in C#/Xamarin/MAUI
  • Excellence in engineering best practices for mobile app development (CI/CD)
  • Experience with app deployment through external partners
  • Team play and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Experience with agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum) is a plus
  • Fluency in English
