As a Specialist NMR Metabolomics, you will propose and develop state-of-the art analytical metabolomics-based methods using nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy for analyzing biofluids, ingredients and food products. You will also perform NMR data analysis and interpret the metabolomics data generated based on good knowledge in metabolism to support and strengthen the R&D strategy.

A day in the life of a Specialist NMR Metabolomics
  • Lead activities and perform samples analysis in the field of Metabolomics by ensuring scientific excellence and business application
  • Develop and scout new methods for metabolomics and food analysis by NMR
  • Interpret NMR results and present activities outcomes or new proposal to internal stakeholders and to scientific community
  • Publish results in peer-reviewed journals

What Will Make You Successful
  • PhD in Analytical Chemistry
  • 1 to 3 years of industrial experience with NMR operation and spectral interpretation including 2D NMR and heteronuclear NMR
  • Knowledge in data analysis and good understanding of human Metabolism
  • Familiarity with Bruker NMR spectrometers is also a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a track record of collaboration and teamwork
  • Excellent communication skills in English, any other language is a plus
