Then the role of Senior Operations Support Manager - Process Safety Management may be just what you are looking for!The Small Molecule API Network within the Janssen Supply Chain organization manufactures Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) that are at the heart of medicines that save lives of our patients, every day. The production of APIs requires a wide variety of chemistry that we run across the 4 sites in our internal network. In order to ensure the safety of our employees and preserve our communities and the environment, process safety is at the core of our operations.In this newly crafted leadership role, you will report directly to the API Group Lead and be the single point of contact on PSM for the organization supporting Small Molecule API. Together with a team of specialists across engineering, EHS and operations, you embed PSM into our business processes.Key Responsibilities

• Leadership of the Process Safety Management program within the SM API Network
• Implement, maintain, and lead PSM governance process at SM API Network
• Identify needed PSM investments and secure funding for implementation. Act as sponsor for critical projects during execution.
• Leads a cross departmental team with MAM and EHS for tactical PSM alignment including technical safety and safety engineering
• Work with our global PSM specialists in rolling out appropriate PSM Training programs.
• Serve as the key conduit for PSM strategic alignment between Enterprise EHS and the API cluster
• You are an authority with confirmed experience in Process Safety Management
• You are able to influence, enable people to do drive reliable execution of process safety systems, detect weak signals, question assumptions, and intervene when necessary
• You are an engaging and inclusive people leader
• You enjoy working with multiple stakeholders in complex business settings and you can prioritize work and focus.
• You can work effectively and drive alignment in a global environment through strong communication and empowerment
• You have strong collaboration skills and a ‘one team’ approach

Education

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required in an Engineering field or equivalent through experience
• An advanced degree, such as an MS or an MBA is preferred
• Certification in PSM related fields is preferred
