The PositionAs an intern on the global Early in Career (EiC) team, you will have ownership of challenging and impactful business-critical projects. You will be a key member of the Integrated Workforce Strategy (IWS) organization at Roche which encompasses many critical areas of talent attraction, talent pipelining and recruitment. The EiC team is key to executing on the company’s investment in early talent (internships, fellowships, rotational programs and other entry-level opportunities) for the European, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.The intern will support all EiC Partners and Specialists in the daily creation of unparalleled EiC experiences that foster development, networking, and community for interns at Roche and it’s affiliates.
  • Help EiC Partners and Specialists in daily operations and execution of various strategies across the region and/or globe
  • Develop university mapping around the region to share Roche opportunities with students.
  • Design the EMEA EiC site that contains all the information needed from a business perspective to understand our EiC scope and strategy
  • Coordinate the interaction between the different EiC Communities to foster networking opportunities
  • Partner with our Talent Marketing Team to create and update social media assets (flyers, campaigns and other marketing resources) for our EiC audience

Qualifications Required:
  • You are currently enrolled in a Master’s program or have completed your Master’s degree a maximum of 12 months ago in HR management, organizational development, communications, marketing, public relations, cultural studies or related fields
What do you need in your toolbox?
  • 6+ months of experience in HR, Marketing or recruiting experience via coursework or previous internship
  • Demonstrated commitment to culture, diversity and inclusion in the workplace
  • Student organization and/or leadership experience
  • Demonstrated communication, writing, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and knowledge of CRM/event management process
  • Social media or marketing skills
  • Efficient, organized, and able to pivot to meet short deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Able to approach complex problems, organize and drive actionable solutions and results
  • Creative & Innovative - ability to think of out of the box approaches to address challenges (proactively and reactively)
  • Practices self-awareness and resiliency to deal with ambiguity and change
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal) is a must, German or Spanish language knowledge is an enormous advantage
