Position Summary

As Supervisor Logistics function, you possess an excellent knowledge and has gained exhaustive experience in all Logistics areas. You take pride in providing a first-class service to our internal and external customers. Your main role is to monitor and increase team performance, communicating job expectations and coaching employees, as well as determine, define, and improve inter department and cross company processes.

Main Responsibilities

  • Logistics supervisor will oversee and coordinate Logistic activities in Jet Aviation facilities
  • Measure and report the effectiveness and employee performance.
  • Determine staffing levels and assign workload
  • Collaborate and communicate with all internal and external stakeholders
  • Guides, trains, and motivates the team members, creates a positive environment, and provides feedback on a regular basis
  • Versatile in all Logistics activities (Incoming/Shipping/Warehousing/Internal Transport)
  • Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices
  • Support the team in implementing improvement initiatives in all Logistics areas
  • Focal point of the Manager SCM to implement improvement in all Logistics areas
  • Optimize and improve working processes and working place ergonomic (5S)
  • Participation in inter-department and cross company projects and tasks
  • Support and collaborate with all internal and external Logistics stakeholders with a positive mindset and problem-solving approach
  • Ensure system data accuracy and maintained relevant and SMART KPIs
  • Ensuring that all tasks are carried out in accordance with the JA procedures, process specifications, technical requirements, manufacturer requirements, aviation rules, and every other applicable or accepted requirement of an authorized body
  • Represents Jet Aviation as one company internally and externally

Minimum Requirements

  • Profound knowledge and work experience (> 10 years) in the area of physical logistics of a large company (technical equipment, work organization, dangerous goods handling, packaging, regulations in the aviation environment)
  • Experience as a Leader in a similar environment
  • Completed university degree with business-management and logistics background or equivalent knowledge and abilities
  • Very good business management and logistics knowledge
  • In depth understanding of the aerospace industry and the regulatory framework
  • Knowledge of all material authority documents that need to be checked for correctness and validity in an aerospace environment
  • Good IT knowledge (SAP S4, MS-Office etc.)
  • Very good knowledge of written and spoken English, knowledge in French and German is a plus
