Beschreibung der Position:

We are looking for a highly motivated and respected Supply Chain Manager (w/m/d) for our Gutor Plant in Wettingen.
In this role you will lead the continuous improvement activities within the area of responsibility, such as Kaizen and digitization activities as well as the support to the strategic initiatives related to Supply Chain and its key performance objectives. You will oversee the daily material management, project and production planning and inbound and outbound logistics. Moreover, you will lead a team of specialist to execute planning, sourcing and logistics strategies that support the business by optimizing costs, quality, and reliability of the overall supply chain architecture.

What will you do:
  • Lead the continued development and improvement of the Supply Chain Management teams whilst supporting a strong culture of trust and collaboration within the teams, and with the entire organization.
  • Be accountable for achieving Gutor Switzerland service level and inventory targets by building a state-of-the-art supply chain organization and architecture.
  • Ensure effective and efficient implementation of Supply Chain Management strategy throughout the organization by increasing the SCM competences.
  • Collaborate with other plants, commercial and customer service teams as well as other functions to ensure appropriate service level and optimal inventory management.
  • Support the business to achieve significant competitive advantage by designing and implementing cost-out programs to reach financial targets (cost reduction, cash management, productivity, etc.).
  • Ensure to be fully embedded – at all levels – in the value chain of the organization by owning and managing SCM core activities such as strategic sourcing, procurement processes, tactical purchasing, and contracted services, as well as inbound and outbound logistics.

Your Profile:
  • You have a Professional Education in Supply Chain Management or similar technical and/or business education with proven practical success.
  • You have relevant experience in supply chain management roles including materials management, production planning and transportation within an industrial environment
  • Thanks to your strong communication skills and enthusiasm, you can motivate employees to achieve demanding goals.
  • You also demonstrate strong sense of ownership and collaborative problem-solving mindset across disciplines in a complex global organization.
  • Through extensive experience in negotiations, you achieve commitment as well as results.
  • Previous experience in a multicultural environment and high degree of inter-cultural sensitivity help you lead and motivate by influence
  • With your good written and spoken German and English skills, you are optimally prepared for working in an international environment.
