As part of Leonardo, Kopter currently develops the AW09, a next generation single-engine helicopter that offers the largest cabin and cargo hold in its category, increased modularity and modern electronic systems. The AW09 delivers latest safety standards as well as more performance and comfort at low operating costs.Kopter is set to become Leonardo’s Centre of Excellence for new light helicopters and an incubator of new technologies, contributing to the development of hybrid and electrical propulsion systems. Kopter’s 320 talented team members are primarily based in Switzerland, near Zurich and in Mollis (Canton of Glarus).Your Responsibilities
  • Create 3D models for parts and assemblies for transmission system
  • Create and check detail part, assembly and installation drawings (GD&T)
  • Elaborate and check technical specifications
  • Prepare experimental, environmental, operational and certification tests
Your Qualifications & Experience
  • Bsc degree in mechanical engineering, or similar related engineering degree
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with mechanical design in the aerospace industry or transmission systems in other relevant industries
  • 3D CAD skills, Siemens NX preferred
  • Experience to understand and create manufacturing and assembly drawings
  • Helicopter certification experience (CS27/CS29) an asset
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • English B2
