System Engineer SIRON AML

On behalf of our client, a globally operating Swiss private bank, Swisslinx is looking for a System Specialist who is interested interested and motivated to become a reliable expert with the bank’s SIRON AML / ACM application.

This is a contract running until end of 2023. As this is a long-term role, there is a high likelihood of extension(s) and internalization at a later point.

As System Specialist you will be one of the technical key knowhow carrier and 3rd-Level operations team member for the SIRON AML/ACM application which is the bank’s Global Anti Money Laundering Solution. Beside operations you will also be working on implementing new business change requests.

The System Specialist together with the IT Service Owner operates an IT Service E2E within the defined SLA, including understanding and tracking the service dependencies. The System Specialist also supports actively the transition of SW into User Acceptance Testing and Production environments and ensures proper implementation of non-functional requirements. (Note: IT Service means the logical Service including one to many corresponding applications.)


Tasks:

• Be a key point of contact for Operations, Support, Maintenance and overarching service lifecycle related questions:
• Manage the operating model to ensure support levels and effort sharing of operational tasks
• As part of the operating model, you directly ensure the provisioning of 3rd level support
• Align with providers and internal infrastructure team members lifecycle for the IT Service: Planning and Execution
• Continuously improve the service availability, performance, capacity & knowledge management
• Responds to risk related matters such as audits, access rights controls and annual risk assessments
• Manage risk mitigation actions and pipeline of technical debts

During delivery of new features, the System Specialist...

• Supports the delivery of sustainability and operation-readiness of the delivery and supports the provisioning of nonfunctional requirements, their test cases and is responsible for validation
• Aligns with delivery team and release management for deployments into User Acceptance Testing and Production environments.
• Acts as gatekeeper for any change in the IT Service, as such decides with stakeholders on production readiness from IT perspective

Ideally, you bring experience in (some) of the following technical tools and languages:

• SIRON-SUITE from FICO
• Tomcat, Linux, Java, ORACLE SQL, Kubernetes (PKS) and Virtual Machines

Additionally, the following experience / skills are beneficial:

• MQ, AWA, MongoDB, Artemis, Streaming using Kafka, Keycloak, Presto, Service oriented architecture, RESTful services
• Sound understanding of agile methodologies (preferably SAFe) and DevOps experience/certificate (Agile certificates are a plus)
