The AW09 delivers latest safety standards as well as more performance and comfort at low operating costs.Kopter is set to become Leonardo’s Centre of Excellence for new light helicopters and an incubator of new technologies, contributing to the development of hybrid and electrical propulsion systems. Kopter’s 320 talented team members are primarily based in Switzerland, near Zurich and in Mollis (Canton of Glarus).Your ResponsibilitiesThe Configuration Management Team Leader is responsible to coordinate the Configuration Management Team:►Ensure product structure breakdown management according to applicable business standard, based on the inputs from design organisation and coordinating as necessary with the PO and others relevant stakeholders►Ensure top-level Product Structure Definition and baselines including restrictions, options and variants. Responsibilities covers changes from A/C development phase (helicopter prototype) to TC approved design including complex test articles►Provide product change management according to business standards►Ensure configuration and change reports availability as necessary►Provide and continuously manage standard specifications, standard parts and COTS►Product identification and management, supervise the installation/assembly release flow►Support the PLM development and activities, being the central point for Design Organisation requirementsYour Qualifications & Experience►University degree in Engineering►Minimum 5 years experience in Change management, Configuration management, Product configuration/Identification in aerospace►EASA Part-21J/G and DOA processes knowledge►S1000D specification knowledge►Skilled in using Siemens Teamcenter, NX or other CAD tool and SAP, an asset►Previous Team Leading experience will be given priority►Ability to provide personal and professional leadership of a team with different professional levels and task areas in charge for the configuration management, standard parts and ensuring the necessary information flow►Ability to challenge, develop and improve configuration methodologies, rules and best practices►English B2Our offerWe are offering an exciting job opportunity in an entrepreneurial environment with room to grow in every dimension.Your next stepIf you are interested, please submit your complete application documents in English including the following attachments:– Cover letter– CV– Diplomas– Employment referencesPlease note, that this job is only open to candidates holding a valid Swiss Working Permit/ EU Nationals/ Swiss Nationals.Department of Engineering located in CH-8620 WetzikonTo apply for this job please please complete the following form .
