Our client is a global leader in the railway sector. An ideal candidate will come from railway sector (or associated sectors) and manage technical team consisted of Product Introduction Engineers and Technicians (cca. 30 people).

Your responsibilities:

  • Leading maintenance operations activities via effective methodologies and computer tools
  • Identifying and prioritizing technical interventions to maximize train availability
  • Participating in failure reporting analysis (FRACAS) of the trains in service
  • Evaluating technical analysis of customer returns to ensure effective maintenance
  • Collecting all information relating to the technical changes
  • Preparing relevant (associated) documentation available to the technical teams
  • Following-up on the fleet status via onboard systems

  • Your profile:

  • Education background in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Automation or Software Engineering
  • Minimum 7 years of professional experience in a similar position in the railway industry or similar sectors
  • Excellent attention to details with strong analytical skills
  • Experienced in people management
  • Experienced in working with customers (customer satisfaction)
  • Self-motivated and able to motivate others
  • Fluent German and English language skills is must. Any other language would be of advantage
  • Strong stakeholder’s management skills
  • Very good negotiation skills
  • Open to provide efficiency and contribute to process optimization ideas
  • Starting date is: AS SOON AS POSSIBLE or upon agreement #MSDE
