Your role

  • prepare and execute daily regression test set
  • monitor, troubleshoot and report incidents/defects on test failures
  • contribute to the test automation framework by adding new or maintaining existing functionalities/interfaces
  • review and approve new automated test scripts as regression candidates from delivery teams
  • produce and able to support others to produce high quality testing artefacts

Your team

We are looking for test automation engineer who will join our centralized Test Automation team in Trade and Transfer Assets crew. Its core responsibility is to develop and maintain test automation framework (TestComplete + Python) which already supports the majority of applications based on various technology stacks (fat clients, web applications, SOAP/REST APIs , DBs, etc.). In addition, we are responsible for executing and monitoring the daily regression set of 2300+ functional test scripts.

Your expertise

  • university degree in IT/STEM – science, technology, engineering or math
  • 6+ years of experience in testing and test automation for both front- and back-end applications
  • strong programming skills in at least one language, such as Python, Java, C#, JavaScript, or others
  • fluent test analysis and design skills / ability to apply formal test design techniques in your daily testing activities
  • proficient with automation tools, such as SoapUI, Selenium or TestComplete
  • experience with Git/GitLab and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline
  • experience in querying data via SQL
  • knowledge of software development and QA methodologies
  • strong debugging and problem-solving skills
  • strong verbal and written communication skills (English)

Is a plus:
  • experience working in a banking / finance sector
  • ISTQB Foundation certification or equivalent experience in software testing
  • familiarity with test management tools, such as JIRA, Xray
