This position is in Cargill’s agricultural supply chain business, where we seamlessly connect farming customers with food, feed and industry.Job Purpose and ImpactThe Trade Execution Coordinator will coordinate and plan import and export processes, customs documentation, stock management and planning, shipping and receiving of merchandise to ensure it arrives at correct time. In this role, you will be handling Sustainable flows, maintaining Mass balance data, receiving and issuing Sustainability certificates.Key Accountabilities
  • The execution of purchase and sale contracts, including the opening of letters of credit and issuance of contractual documents for payment.
  • To ensure overall execution of contracts from origin to final destination in accordance with commodity and freight contract’s terms and conditions. This includes among others ensure that nominations are sent/received on time, follow up of loading and discharge operations, document’s handling, payment status, follow up on claims.
  • To enable traders to optimize contract’s execution in order to meet customer’s requirements
  • To liaise with external counterparties like sellers and buyers, supervision companies, insurance companies, laboratories, agents and internal counterparties like traders, finance, legal, insurance and shipping departments as well as Cargill’s offices worldwide.
  • Perform general execution administrative tasks (Documentary instructions, Invoice processing, Insurance, Legal and Claims follow up, VAT reporting)
  • Mass balance and Sustainability
  • Planning of operations including storage in different European terminals.
  • Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of related work experience on ag’ commodities
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills
  • Understanding of supply chain activities and key supply chain processes
  • Understanding of payment instruments and applicable rules governing them (eg. UCP600)
  • Working knowledge of documents commonly used in international trade
  • Working knowledge and application of contract law and rules governing international trade
  • Must be reliable, self-motivated, ability to work on own initiative.

  • Knowledge of VAT European requirements.
  • Strong planning skills
  • English fluent, French - Upper intermediate level required
