As part of Leonardo, Kopter currently develops the AW09, a next generation single-engine helicopter that offers the largest cabin and cargo hold in its category, increased modularity and modern electronic systems. The AW09 delivers latest safety standards as well as more performance and comfort at low operating costs.Kopter is set to become Leonardo’s Centre of Excellence for new light helicopters and an incubator of new technologies, contributing to the development of hybrid and electrical propulsion systems. Kopter’s 320 talented team members are primarily based in Switzerland, near Zurich and in Mollis (Canton of Glarus).Your ResponsibilitiesConfiguration of the Central Maintenance Computer (CMC) for the AW09:

• Understand the functionalities of the Central Maintenance Computer in cooperation with the avionics suite supplier
• Get familiar with the software tools used to configure the Central Maintenance Computer in cooperation with the avionics suite supplier
• Coordinate meetings with airframe system engineers and provide questionnaires to support them in specifying the data required to be monitored for fault/exceedance detection, continuous recording and life viewing
• Maintain the current baseline configuration of the Central Maintenance Computer using the software tools
• Get familiar with the avionics test bench to load the baseline configuration and perform tests to confirm correct function of the Central Maintenance Computer
• Maintain Kopter internal documentation for system engineers of how to operate and configure the Central Maintenance Computer

Support to the Avionic Team in the system development activities:

• Support in preparation of technical meetings (PDR, CDR, etc.) as required
• Perform systems bench testing, problem report investigation/testing and takes action to resolve test discrepancies
• Support the Avionics team in performing traceability of high level System requirements against sub-systems, hardware and software using dedicated tools (Rational DOORS)

Your Qualifications & Experience

• University Degree or equivalent in electrical or aerospace engineering or studying towards
• Quick learner with strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to work as part of a multinational team
• Excellent attention to detail
• English B2
