pRED CLINICAL OPERATIONS

ROLE PURPOSE

Drives identification and implementation of operational innovations to reduce patient burden and increase the productivity of executing Clinical Programs. The Postholder engages with external stakeholders and across the Roche enterprise in identifying opportunities that are fit-for-purpose for pRED Programs.


WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Lead the collaboration with CO Chapters to develop, implement and refine innovative solutions across the Clinical Trial life cycle that decreases timelines and budget while increasing patient centricity.

  • Build a strong partnership with Portfolio Chapter to understand challenges and develop solutions to support the execution of global clinical trials.

  • Champion and collaborate with Study Leads to embed novel approaches that contribute towards productivity gains into pRED Clinical Trials

  • Serves as the expert in pRED Clinical Operations to offer fully decentralised or hybrid clinical trial solutions to the portfolio and programme chapter. (e.g partner with a programme chapter to advise on feasibility and potential vendors to bring the trial to the patient’s home or close neighbourhood).

  • Represents pRED Clinical Operations on enterprise wide initiatives to develop Roche capability and expertise; including development of processes and in-depth knowledge of industry guidance and regulatory acceptability.

  • Have a growth mindset and are excited about learning through experience

  • Have extensive years of experience in pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry and drug development experience (therapeutic area experience a plus)

  • Hold a university degree or equivalent years of experience, preferred focus in life sciences

  • Want to make a difference and find excitement in innovating practices, therapeutics and processes

  • Possess strong working knowledge of drug development process and respective regulations

  • Feel comfortable traveling internationally based on specific program needs

  • Strong knowledge of the competitive landscape and understanding of the key business drivers for increasing productivity in trial execution.

  • Substantial understanding of Clinical Development activities from First in Man thru Proof of Concept

  • Proven project management and coordination skills including planning, organisational and time management skills
