General InformationThe warehouse manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the warehouse, managing the team and the implementation of the EWM solution to optimize the warehouse operations and inventory management. Our flexible work practices help you optimize personal and business performance while creating an environment where all employees can develop their skills and grow.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage a team of 8 logistics personnel in the day-to-day operations of the warehouse Implement and maintain SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) system to ensure efficient and accurate inventory management Develop and implement warehouse policies, procedures, and best practices Monitor and analyze warehouse performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, logistics, and supply chain, to ensure smooth and timely flow of materials Coordinate with procurement and suppliers to manage inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of warehouse equipment and facilities Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standardsYour BackgroundBachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management, with at least 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role Strong understanding of warehouse management processes and best practices Experience with SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) system, including implementation and configuration Experience leading and managing a team of logistics personnel Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze and improve warehouse performance metrics Excellent communication and project management skills Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles Experience with S/4HANA is a plus SAP EWM certification is a plusBasic Info Location Lenzburg, Switzerland Job type Full time Experience Experienced Job function Supply Chain Contract Regular Publication date 2023-03-29 Reference number JOB_POSTING-3-23145
