Virtual CTO / Executive Cloud Strategy Business Consultant

• As a Virtual CTO / Senior Executive Business Consultant you work with clients at executive level (CTO / CIO / Director) to define their digital business strategy with focus on digital business optimization and digital business transformation.
• You will also have the opportunity to take a leading role in Orange Business Services’ transformation to a digital services leader and help develop a rapidly expanding Cloud Strategic Business Consulting Practice.
• You will use a combined strategic and technical approach to business innovation with cloud to create executive level technical strategies, act as a trusted technical advisor, create technical roadmaps and horizon planning, generate new use cases and value propositions across three core cloud streams:
• Cloud strategy and migration (alignment of business objectives to cloud strategy, cloud readiness assessment, application migration and 6R strategy).
• Cloud native development strategy (use of Cloud-native services for application development, CI/CD methodologies, monetization strategies for cloud-native services).
• Cloud managed services (DevOps and operational models, Cloud service design, Cloud financial management).
• Successful digital business engagements are defined by the client business outcomes that will be achieved. You address their digital challenges through innovation workshops/methodologies and develop strategies and solutions to support their business outcomes (business development, business transformation, cost efficiency). You will co-innovate and pilot digital business solutions. This will require you to position and sell consulting engagements to our prospects and clients.
• In this role you will also act as client advocate, analyze customer requirements and provide strategic advice. Client facing activities such as presentations, ideation sessions, workshops, consulting program engagements and executive level discussions are very important elements of this role. Business Consulting and Business Innovation is a strategic focus of Orange Business Services with a strong growth objective. You will be supporting the business consulting and innovation program activities with Orange’s clients and collaborate closely with your Business Consulting team colleagues, mainly in Europe (same time zone).

about you

• Minimum 10-15+ years related work experience with a Cloud Service Provider, Cloud Application Development Consultancy, consulting, or directly relevant in-house role.
• University Degree or Equivalent.
• Experience in IT Strategy, Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, product development, project and service delivery and commercial modelling.
• Communicate daily with CIO/CTO/COO customer contacts.
• Advised, led and delivered €1.5m-€7m (professional services) migration, refactor and re-architecture projects to AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Delivered €7m-€20m Cloud managed services on AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Certifications in AWS (Cloud Practitioner, Developer, Security, Solution Architect), Azure (Solutions Architecture), ITIL v3, TOGAF.
• Experience in running innovation workshops with business and technical stakeholders to create cloud use cases.
• Proven experience in positioning and executing Cloud strategy and migration, Cloud native development strategy and Cloud management and in delivering business consulting services.
• Strong background in hands-on technical architecture, cloud operations or cloud service management.
