Visual Design Specialist 50-60%

The Visual Design Specialist is part of the Corporate Communications Team and the Sonova Newsroom, developing and producing audiovisual content for a variety of internal and external channels. The successful candidate also works closely with other teams such as Corporate Responsibility & Branding, Investor Relations and the Hear the World Foundation, with the objective of developing integrated digital communication solutions.

Your tasks

  • Video production including creation of story boards, filming, editing, subtitles, animation, sound
  • Management and maintenance of video equipment
  • Creation of illustrations, infographics, animations, leaflets and posters
  • Photography and picture editing
  • Desktop publishing
  • Design and content management for intranet and internet sites
  • Support of live video streaming (filming, producing, etc.)
  • Administrative and project support


Your profile

  • Degree in Production Design, Video, Art or completed apprenticeship as “Mediamatiker/in EFZ”
  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in audio-visual production and ability to work with internal and external partners, e.g. agencies
  • Storytelling skills and creative spirit
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks and projects
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud (e.g. Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and content management systems; programming and editing skills in HTML would be an asset
  • Professional working proficiency in English
