WEB DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST/LUGANO

Duties and Responsabilities

Web Development Specialist, experienced in Frontend development, will provide support for creating and maintaining websites and other digital products
Develop and release clean and maintainable code for innovative Web frontend solutions
The role will contribute to development of new projects as well as maintenance of existing solutions also be involved in the overall integration with the other systems and mobile applications, in collaboration with the digital Marketing Department and the other Departments key users that oversee the content strategy and management
Be part of project development team in an Agile environment
Delivery and update of qualitative technical documentation in the Department repository
Identify new technologies or solutions that could be employed potentially to support the WEB Solution Project Manager in terms of productivity, improved decision support, and enhanced customer experience

The ideal candidate will have the following skills, knowledges and experience

Bachelor in Computer Science, Information Management, Engineering
Lack of education titles could be compensated by a robust professional experience: Several projects with a WEB platform would be beneficial, especially if within multinational environments.
At least 3 years of directly relevant professional experience (Frontend development)
Experience with agile methodologies/frameworks
Ability to transform mockups/wireframes and high level designs into semantic, accessible frontend interfaces of complex webapps
Advanced experience with: JavaScript, Complex systems/frameworks (VueJS), HTML, SASS, Version control, specifically GIT, Webservices integration, CLI tools
Knowledge/ experience in back-end development (Java) is an advantage.
Proficient English – written and spoken
