The Open Forest Starter

The Open Forest Starter is a smart-contract based financing platform for the future of on-chain reforestation, forest preservation, and ecosystem restoration. This product lies at the intersection of the Regenerative Finance (ReFi) industry cluster, and requires a familiarity with both traditional and crypto finance product development.

Expectations

Competitive candidates need to be able to speak crypto (or learn quickly), and have experience or passionate interest in product development (from conception to launch). Initial documentation and oversight is provided; what is required is hands-on, day-to-day management of the development, design, user experience, testing, and deployment of the Open Forest Starter. Ultimately, the product is expected to coexist on multiple chains and pioneer an original - fully on-chain financial infrastructure - for valuing OFP forest projects.

Individuals looking to work for the Open Forest Protocol are expected to be self-starters and team players, with a strong passion for their work. This is a job for someone looking to do meaningful work, at the emergence of one of the world’s most exciting current industry clusters: Regenerative Finance.

Role And Key Responsibilities
  • Work with developers day in and out to manage the design, testing, communication, and deployment of the Open Forest Starter.
  • Manage the roadmap for the product from conception to multi-chain deployment.
  • Work to refine the product for financiers, NGOs, and entrepreneurs.
  • Communicate and market the product during development, working in cohort with the OFP marketing team to ensure that the core value proposition of the product is adequately communicated and accessible.
