For a mid-sized successfully operating commodity trading company in the petrochemical and oil products industry based in Zug, we presently are recruiting a

Accountant

Tasks:
  • Responsible for day-to-day Accounts Payable, ensuring timely approval and processing of invoices.
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations on current accounts
  • Prepare/review prepayments and accrued expenses schedules
  • Preparation and transmission of internal and external reports and statistics
  • Development of budget, investment and liquidity planning including forecast
  • Analysis of processes and implementation of process optimizations
  • Supporting CFO, in preparation of quarter-end and year-end financial statements, for internal and external purposes.
  • Liaising with external auditors including support of statutory annual audit.
  • Provide support and guidance to staff, answering questions related to accounting matters and assist in general administrative tasks
  • Master data maintenance
  • Collaboration on projects
Profile:
  • Completed basic education with special qualification in finance & accounting (Sachbearbeiter Rechnungswesen od. Fachausweis) or bachelor with focus accounting / finance
  • 3-5 years of practical experience in financial accounting in an international environment
  • Strong implementation skills, independent, proactive, high social competence
  • High analytical ability and quick comprehension skills
  • High IT affinity as well as very good MS Office knowledge (especially Excel)
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
