The Department of Biomedicine of Basel University (https://biomedizin.unibas.ch/en/) is seeking an administrative assistant at 80% for the coordination, administration and communication of research activities.

Responsibilities

· Support research group leaders in administrative and organizational tasks

· Personnel and finance administration

· Support grant application and coordination

· Planning and coordination of lab orders

· Teaching coordination

· Organization of seminars and presentations

· Assistance of the research groups’ websites and communication of scientific results

Qualifications

· Bachelor degree in natural science and experience with research or administration, preferably in an academic environment

· Excellent German and English knowledge

· Competence in the use of modern communication tools
