The Role
A unique opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Apprentice (CFC Employé-e de Commerce) in Rolle, Switzerland within ADM International. In this role you will be part of an international and dynamic workforce composed of people from different backgrounds and origins. This is the ideal environment to the constant learning of the Swiss and International economic market, we will give you the necessary business knowledge and tools for a smooth functioning of your apprenticeship. Besides this, you will evolve in design and spacious offices where you will take advantage of the bright and fitted common spaces in order to let you bloom completely throughout your apprenticeship.
Your training plan will include an internal rotation where you will have the opportunity to work within a broad range of departments at ADM, as for example the reception, back-office, marketing, human resources and other departments. During the length of your apprenticeship, you will receive proper support from professionals of each department. In this 2-years dual training program, you will spend 3 days in the company and 2 days in school during the first year; and 4 days in the company and 1 day in school during the final year.

Main Responsabilities
In this apprenticeship, you will complete and extend the knowledge acquired at school by doing different tasks depending on your training program, as for example:
  • Usual administrative tasks such as working at front-desk reception, managing inbound and outbound post mails, filing, invoicing;
  • Event planning and coordination;
  • Work as a liaison with different external providers based in Switzerland and abroad;
  • Revision of contracts (intracompany, with external clients, etc);
  • HR administrative support: work permits, social security, recruitment, absence tracking, etc.

The candidate
The successful candidate will possess the following:
  • Swiss high school degree (gymnase) or equivalent;
  • Fluent in English (both writing and speaking) - mandatory;
  • First experience as a trainee/intern in an office environment is an advantage;
  • Great organization and communication skills;
  • Team player, dynamic, proactive and curious;
  • Respect of confidentiality.
