Proclinical are recruiting an Automation Engineer for a pharmaceutical consultancy. This role is on a permanent basis and is located in Basel.Responsibilities
  • Assist with the introduction of a new process control system such as Siemens PCS 7 at the Bubendorf site.
  • The ideal candidate will develop and outline automation standards for future projects rendering to GMP guidelines such as GAMP 5, 21CFR Part11 and GMP Annex 11.
  • Assume qualification and validation duties of automation systems of process engineering plants rendering to GMP needs.
  • Responsible for assisting the technology/engineering in troubleshooting control and visualisation solutions at the Bubendorf site.
  • Other duties may be assigned to this role.
Key Skills And Requirements
  • Educated to a degree level/accomplished training in an engineering field, specialising in automation or electrical engineering.
  • Various years of experience in electrical engineering/automation.
  • Familiarity with managing automation projects within a chemical-pharmaceutical organisation, considering the suitable GMP regulations.
  • Acquaintance with programming PCS7, Simatic S7, TIA, WINCC and expertise on fieldbus systems such as Profibus and Profinet.
  • Prior involvement with Siemens Batch System would be beneficial.
  • An organised individual.
  • Communication skills both verbally and in writing.
  • Fluency in the German and English languages.
