What does Bachelor@IBM offer you?
Within the scope of the 2-4 year Bachelor@IBM program, we offer valuable professional experience in the area of consulting, sales or a technical department, which you will gain in parallel to your studies. You can complete the bachelor study course at a university (or university of applied sciences) of your choice. The duration of studies depends on the respective university and is between two and four years. The volume of work allows you to focus sufficiently on your bachelor’s degree. Nevertheless, you can expect challenging assignments in a team-oriented and dynamic environment as well as many opportunities for active co-determination. You can also write your bachelor’s thesis in collaboration with your department.

Who are we looking for?
For our in-job bachelor’s program, we are looking for highly-motivated students who are planning to enroll or already enrolled in a bachelor study in Information Engineering, Business Computer Science, Business or Mathematics.
If you like to work in a team, work solution oriented and have good analytical skills and last but not least love to be challenged and learn something new every day then we are looking forward to receiving your application.

What can you expect from this position?
As Bachelor@IBM Sales you will be part of the of the Software Sales team and support our "Go To Market" model for direct and indirect sales of IBM’s strategic software products. This means you will be able to work with new and emerging technologies with a focus on Data & AI, Hybrid Cloud Integration, and Business Automation solutions. You will work closely with our Sales Team, TechSales Team, Product Offering Team to drive sales strategies for the Swiss market. You will also engage with clients to support IBM Sales teams to develop a compelling value proposition aligned to customer needs and KPIs.

We are looking for a bachelor student who is:
  • Eager to learn how to run a high-class software business in the Swiss market
  • Curious to engage with Swiss clients in multiple industries
  • Excited about new technologies (e.g. Container, Analytics, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, etc.) and how they can provide business value to clients
  • Interested to learn how to build compelling value propositions for clients
This job is only for candidates who have recently started their Bachelor’s degree and and have at least 2 years of study remaining (at a Swiss university/university of applied sciences, study course of your choice).
