Proclinical are recruiting a CAPEX lead for a pharmaceutical organisation. This role is on a contract basis and is located in Visp. The client is focused on enabling their clients to acknowledge the requirements of their patients as well as meet their deadlines.

Responsibilities
  • Implement the CAPEX project rendering to budget, scope and on-time deliverables.
  • To offer day to day guidance, you will outline and execute general project materials on an internal and external basis.
  • Warrant the execution of the pioneering technical solutions as well as compliance with quality, safety and ecology standards on both and internal and external basis.
  • You will certify the input and leveraging of best practices and knowledge within the clients engineering society.
  • To guarantee that the project implementation is on track such as safety, quality, price and timetable, as well as to recognise and execute remedial activities in the case of aberration from project goals, you will perform consistent engineering and project control evaluations with the project team.
  • Create the project CAPEX charter which involves scope of work, objectives and deliverables together with the pertinent site level senior management and shareholders.
  • Other duties may be assigned to this role.
Skills & Requirements
  • Educated to a degree level in an engineering discipline such as mechanical, plant or equivalent.
  • At least 5-10 years of experience in engineering with at least 5 years of experience in investment projects such as CAPEX within an infrastructure setting such as Energy, Wastewater, etc.
  • Familiarity in a project management and leadership role focusing on large investment projects within a global setting.
  • Able to manage projects which also involves contract management.
  • Know-how on project controlling and review.
  • Knowledge on infrastructure project engineering potentially in the chemical and/or pharmaceutical organisation
  • Extensive interdisciplinary acquaintance.
  • HE knowledge.
  • A motivating individual who works well in a team environment, drives outcomes, is a solid leader, communicates well and has knowledge in handling matrix-based cross-functional teams.
  • Cooperate and inspiring capabilities internally and externally with the ability to guide a diverse, cross-functional teams in the efficaciously delivering on projects.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Capable of shifting priorities, demands and deadlines to company needs by thinking analytically and the ability to resolve issues.
  • Social and communication skills both verbally and written.
  • Fluency in the German and English languages.
