About the Role

As Client Delivery Manager NatCat you would be responsible to provide your subject matter expertise to colleagues and clients to drive growth of our solutions portfolio across the globe.

Key responsibilities:

• Driven by market opportunity and clients need you build and implement our strategy in close collaboration with product management.
• You develop, close and service deals in conjunction with Senior Delivery Managers and regional sales teams.
• You contribute to the model and data strategy across our suite of solutions.
• For select strategic projects, you get involved as project member to help build the basis for our future success.

Property Solutions is a global team that offers products and solutions to our client base across insurers, brokers, and other corporate customers. We enable them with risk intelligence (e.g. CatNet®), risk modelling (e.g. NatCat Modelling Engine) and product innovation (e.g. Parametric platform). We combine Swiss Re’s in-house insights with external knowledge and data and turn it into products that help solve our clients’ challenges.

About You

You’ve got strong interpersonal skills and communicate well complex matters to diverse audience. You’re curious- always asking questions and searching for solutions. New ideas excite you and you’re keen explore new experiences. Growth drives you and you are happy to contribute to the team spirit with passion.

Essentials:

• You have a master’s degree in natural sciences or a comparable education/working experience.
• You are commercially minded with least 2 years’ experience in a natural catastrophe related field (insurance, reinsurance, broker, or model/data vendor).
• You have project management skills and the ability to influence.
• Proficient in English language.

Nice to Haves:

• You have a profound overview of emergent topics (new data sets, new products) in the natural catastrophe and property space, and you know the relevant players
• You have NatCat modelling experience
• Proficiency in other languages
