BOARD International, global software vendor leading the way in Business Intelligence, Analytics and CPM unification, is looking for an experienced Cloud architect to join the R&D team in Chiasso HQ.

Reporting to the Head of Cloud Operations, the selected candidate will be involved in designing, implementing and deploy innovative architectures in a cloud environment.

If you take the challenge, you will play a key role in this exciting project, which provides an ideal opportunity for personal development within a young, dynamic and international context.

Core responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a team of Software engineers in design of new components to ensure cloud best practices
  • Write high quality cloud automation code and templates within deadlines
  • Collaborate with cloud operation team in troubleshooting and new functionalities roll-out

Skills & Requirements:

  • Technical knowledge and deep understanding of Microsoft Azure Services and Azure overall basic infrastructure; Cloud native application patterns; Azure Security and Operations; DevOps culture and principles
  • Experience in: Development of Infrastructure as Code with ARM Templates, PowerShell and Azure Automation; Azure Monitoring and Application Insights
  • Hands-on technical expertise in security architecture and network security
  • Understanding implications of meeting industry standards such as ISO 27001 and NIST framework
  • Natural aptitude to teamwork
  • Analytical mindset and a keen eye for detail
  • The knowledge of Kubernetes will be considered a plus
  • Excellent knowledge of English language
