Board International, global software vendor leading the way in BI, Analytics and Corporate Performance Management unification, with more than 25 offices around the world, is currently looking for a talented Legal Counsel to join the Legal Department in our Chiasso HQ.

Reporting to the Chief Legal Office, you will play a key role in providing legal advice and support on an international scale in the day-to-day legal activities of the Board Group, with focus on HR processes.

Core responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day proactive employment law advice, assistance and counselling
  • Review employment offers and agreements with HR
  • Create, customize and update release agreements for terminating employees
  • Assist with employment law litigation matters
  • Support VISA processes
  • Recommend, implement and continuously improve employment law related training
  • Work with HR to help manage and respond to employee relations issues, investigations and grievances
  • Manage and supervise outside counsel, as required
  • Provide legal support to other departments and functions
  • Draft agreements and other legal documents to ensure the Group’s legal rights
  • Advise on legal language or specifications
  • Maintain current knowledge of alterations in legislation

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years’ experience as in-house Legal Counsel or in a Law Firm
  • Master’s Degree in Law
  • Good knowledge and understanding of HR laws and procedures
  • High level of professional ethics and integrity
  • Ability to analyze situations and information
  • Excellent knowledge of Word, Excel, Ppt, Pdf
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • High fluency in English
  • Knowledge of another language will be considered a plus
